The Strokes Rock Band

The Strokes are an American rock band formed in 1998 in New York City. Consisting of Julian Casablancas (lead vocals), Nick Valensi (guitar), Albert Hammond, Jr. (guitar), Nikolai Fraiture (bass guitar) and Fabrizio Moretti (drums and percussion), The Strokes have been named one of the most prominent and influential rock bands to emerge in the 21st century.
Upon the release of their debut album Is This It in 2001, the group met much critical acclaim. Since then, the band has maintained a large fan base all over the world but mostly in the UK, US, Canada and Australia. A number of members have embarked on a variety of side projects, although a fourth album, entitled Angles, was released on March 22, 2011.

Fugazi band

Fugazi is an American post-hardcore band that formed in Washington, D.C. in 1987. The band's continual members are guitarists and vocalists Ian MacKaye and Guy Picciotto, bassist Joe Lally and drummer Brendan Canty.
Fugazi are noted for their DIY ethical stance, manner of business practice and contempt towards the music industry.
Fugazi has performed numerous worldwide tours and produced seven albums and a film, gaining the band critical acclaim and success around the world. Fugazi has been on indefinite hiatus since 2003.
